We are currently enjoying a visit from the Family of the Groom (FOG). Yesterday they accompanied us to a cake tasting in Rockridge which resulted an severe food comas for the MOG (mother of the groom), and one SOG/SSBM (sister of the groom/superstar bridesmaid)......while the other SOG/SSBM took this photo.
Immediately following this moment, the groom and the DOG (dad of the groom....FOG was taken) took in game 1 one of the Final Four with 1/3 of the groomsmen. And spent half the time justifying -- or rather, skeptically clarifying -- $10/slice for wedding cake. (as if.....)
The day was capped with memorable-to-say-the-least dinner at Flemings in Palo Alto during which the entire restaurant got to share in some extremely exciting news (which we won't share here because it aint ours), thanks to the bride's "best. reaction. ever."
Now off to visit the venue...
